Music City helping to put El Sussi on the map

It all began with a soft launch in the late fall of 2024. The first ever seasonal line of El Sussi consisted of two corduroy pearl snap shirts, a washed denim snap shirt, a handful of graphic tees, and five hats. We were very fortunate to get connected with two brand new stores in the Nashville area: Simon Says and Nic & Maude, located in Franklin, TN. Both of these stores are run by women with an incredible eye for style and their own specific style that filled a need in the market that wasn’t being met. Even luckier for us, both stores already had great working relationships with some of Nashville’s best stylists. Whether intentional, or purely by chance, El Sussi pieces started ending up in these stylists hands. Pretty soon our brand was being showcased on album covers, music videos, and on tours, being worn by artists like Thomas Rhett, Tucker Wetmore, Josh Turner, Dylan Scott, and Actor/Singer Callum Kerr, and even professional basketball player Bruce Brown, just to name a few.

In addition to the early success with Nic & Maude and Simon Says, our team had already cultivated some relationships with members of the Carly Pearce Band. Without those guys (Nick Huddleston, Philip Noel, Jon Aanestad, and Daniel Johnson) we may still be clawing our way trying to break into the Nashville scene. Thanks to them, we were not only able to connect with multiple Nashville stylists, but they have also been tremendous supporters of the brand since its inception. From tours to late night appearances, to every day wear, we owe these guys a huge thank you are extremely grateful.

Moving forward into this new Fall 2025 season, we are more excited than ever to be able to bring some new styles and fresh colors back to Music City and continue to grow with the place that helped us get our start. Here’s to you Nashville!
